Brass Band Music, & Educational Music

SJS specialises in brass band music and educational music for Training Brass Bands/Wind Bands, including School Bands, Music Centre Bands & Youth Bands, Young Brass/Wind Ensembles, and Young String Ensembles.

We have a strong affinity to the brass band movement and brass band music, with an involvement  stretching back over 40 years. This is coupled with over 30 years’ experience in music education enabling us to bring you some of the most practical and affordable educational music available.

Our brass band music is designed to be playable by most bands, and if in doubt about whether the music is at a suitable level you can listen to any piece or have a look at any score in our online shop before you buy. Each piece of brass band music  in our online shop has a Grade allocated from A – D with A being the simplest, playable by almost any level of band and even Grade D pieces would be suitable for a third section band and upwards.

Our educational music is all produced by practising teachers and is designed to give maximium flexibility in dealing with mixed-ability groups.
